Quick Note

Yes, we know, the show’s not named the CPV anymore, and John is in New York, and the episodes should be re-numbered, etc., etc.

We’re still working out the kinks in our new recording plan and set-up. Expect one or two more episodes (with a new one this upcoming week!) as is, and then a full re-launch with a new site design and all the other bells and whistles after that.

Cheers,

John and Jeff

Episode 9.7 - The Final Colorado Progressive Voice Episode, but not the end of the Show

Elena Kagan confirmed; Prop 8 ruling!; Arizona SB 1070 ruling; Feisty debate over WikiLeaks; Bennet/Romanoff update and Colorado primary predictions; Devil’s Advocate - Jeff must defend the crazies who think the Cordoba House mosque and cultural center shouldn’t be built; Rants - Jeff on Kenya’s new constitution and John on more Obama broken promises re: civil liberties and privacy.

This is the end of the Colorado Progressive Voice as we know it, but we announce our plans for the future (new name! slightly new format! more frequent shows! podcasting!) at the end of the show!

CPV Updates

Indeed, it has been a while since your favorite internet radio show has been online. We owe you an explanation.

We assure you that John didn’t drive 45 minutes to record with Jeff, only to have forgotten all of the recording gear 45 minutes away. Promise. No, really.

There was also that matter of the large snowstorm.

John has a surgery coming up soon that will also impede the podcast-making enterprise.

There was also that matter of your two favorite internet radio-ists being 45 minutes away and both in grad schools.

We promise a new audio episode as soon as we have some time. In the meantime, be on the lookout for some non-audio content. You can also catch John on the Mario Solis-Marich show on Friday afternoons in the 4PM hour (mountain time). You can follow John on Twitter as well - everything you love about him, condensed into bursts of 140 characters.

Updates

Hello our best-est friends,

Quick note - due to living an hour away, Jeff in law school, and John in grad school, we’ll be moving the show so that it comes out once every other week. We know, sad news, but it just means you’ll have to savor every episode twice as much.

P.S. New episode coming out this weekend - get excited.

Hiatus :(

Dearest listeners,

Unfortunately, the CPV will be taking a (short-lived) break from the land of podcasts. Jeff starts law school in a couple days and John is writing a term paper and finishing up his thesis. We’ll be back in late August/early September with more of the goodness you crave.

In the meantime, you can always check out our archives here.
